This is an injection-plastic military vehicle model kit. The Wiesel airborne combat vehicle is a small tracked vehicle currently used by the German Army for paratroopers; it was named "Wiesel" (weasel) due to its small size and agility. Development began in the 1970s, and mass production began in 1984; of the 345 Wiesel 1 Mk.20 produced between 1989 and 1992, 135 of them were armed with the Rheinmetall Rh202 cannon. The hatches on this tank can be built opened or closed, and the suspension, road wheels and tracks are movable; clear parts and photo-etched parts are included, as are decals for four versions and a figure.
