The Hawker Typhoon was a single-seat heavy fighter evolved from the success of the Hurricane during world war II. The prototype was ordered in 1938, the first flight took place on February 24, 1940, May 27, 1941 takes off the first production aircraft. The aircraft was introduced to combat service in September 1941, the first operation takes place on may 30, 1942.
